Kate George

As a Putejurra woman and the first Aboriginal student to graduate and practice law in WA, Dr. George brings a wealth of senior public service and legal experience including State and Federal ministerial advisory and mineral consulting positions to FNMA. Dr. George's ongoing community work has spanned the legal, resources and Indigenous industries, being the first Aboriginal woman to chair an ASX-listed company in 2022. Working alongside FNMA, Dr. George will continue to focus on creating economic development opportunities for the Aboriginal peoples.

With an incredible list of achievements across her career, Dr. George brings a wealth of actionable insight to FNMA, allowing her to continue to advise the business in the best ways with which to prioritize and promote economic opportunities for the Aboriginal communities of WA. Previously Dr. George was managing director of PwC Indigenous Consulting and acting Chief Executive of the Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service in East Pilbara.
